Name. Oliverr Crusoe. Nickname(s). Oli, Crue Age. Twenty-three Gender. Male Species. Soulseek Appearance. As a human, Oliverr was a thin, mid-sized male. He had longish brown hair and hazel eyes. Tattoos covered his body. He also sported a lip ring. A scar from a past car accident ran down through his left eyebrow, and another crossed the bridge of his nose. Other than that though? Plain. There wasn't much to say about him in matters of appearance except that he always kept himself clean and wore the best clothes he could afford. In his Soulseek form, he is a large black beast with glowing red eyes. He appears to be some sort of lion but far larger and with much longer legs. A wicked grin is always plastered across his shadowy face. If he were a lion, he would have an impressive mane with a forelock sticking out like bangs between his ears. The scar above his eye as a human has followed him into the shadows, a white line to distinguish him from the rest. Personality. Oliverr used to be a sweet, quiet person who didn't speak until prompted to. You could say that he was shy, but mostly he simply wanted to be left alone. If someone took the time to become his friend, he would be a good friend, but if they got on his bad side, he'd never forgive them. He wasn't the most vocal of people; most never heard him speak, and he wasn't one to entertain the advances of girls. As leader of the Soulseeks, he has retained few of his human traits unlike the others. Sarcasm and manipulativeness are all he has left, and the worst part is that he can no longer remember what he has lost. Oliverr doesn't even know that at one time he strove to leave this awful place; now he roams about looking for others to deprive. All other Soulseeks defer to him for the few rules they have and they know better than to cross him.
History. Oliverr was born into a middle-class American family. Everything about them was normal. Except Oliverr. He was more of a learning type and would rather read a book than be pummeled by footballs. His older sister was the only one, he felt, that actually understood him.
Oliverr wasn't well-liked; he was hardly even known. That was fine by him though, that's the way he wanted things. The less people knew about him, the less they would have to pick on him about. There were always a few bullies, and he had plenty of scars to show for it. Although he defended himself, it was likely that he wouldn't win. A group of guys tormented him every chance they got, and he tried his best to stay out of their way. At twenty-three, he'd thought the drama of high school had ended and that all of the morons he'd ever known would finally leave him at peace. They hadn't.
Walking home from work one night with his friend Neil, he was calm. Nothing had happened in the past few weeks, so he figured himself safe. The two had intended to take the bus from the nearest stop to their apartment complex, so they took a shortcut through the local park. Sitting on the bench waiting for the bus, the group of guys approached them, taunting with their words. The leader's words stung but Oliverr ignored them, trying his best to fade away into nothing. The bus wasn't too far away; perhaps this incident would be avoided. "Are you listening to me, punk?" the leader shouted, snatching Oliverr by the shirt and pulling him close. His breath taken away, he couldn't respond. Angry, the gang member tossed him out into the street. Neil had been restrained and could only watch in horror as the bus sped up. Oliverr hadn't had time to move, or to do anything to save himself. The blinding headlights were the last thing he saw, and then darkness.
Upon arriving in Disengage, he found himself in a silver fox's body. He was one of the very few who are not worried about their condition. A very large Soulseek, in the shape of a bear, fell upon him as he wandered into The Darkness. With his small form, he had no hope and was consumed. Now he roams the lands as a Soulseek, preying on the less fortunate. He remembers none of his story before becoming a Soulseek.
